So I'm going to be playing against a nid army next week with my necrons. From what I've seen of his army he's running at least 2 probably 3 flyrants with the TL devourers and two or three other FMC, I think one was a crone, and a minimal ground presence. I'm running 4 a-barges, 4 scythes and three OLords in barges and some ground units but nothing of note.

I've had issues before where my flyers would come on take a wound or two off of the warlord flyrant and then I'd get the flyers blasted off the board in his turn. Any suggestions on tactics versus tons of Nid FMCs?

Necrons have a solid counter to Tyradactyl through the form of AV13 Wall. I'd replace the Nightscythes with Ghost Arks (if possible) and have a strong ground presence. If possible, try and play Maelstrom, the FMC's will either have to land, or you'll run away with points for Objectives.

Tentaclids were a bit of a problem, too, the last time I fought him but they are limited with those. The Ghost Arks are a good idea though and I do own two. Thanx!

You can always jink with your nightscythes. It only affects your telsa hits to a small extent.
Think about an extra 2 barges. 6 barges and 4 nightscythe put on average ~37 st7 hits (after the extra for 6's) against flying tagets. That's over 8 wounds in 1 turn on his flyrants. Way more on harpies and crones.
The issue if you don't go full tesla destructor is all his haywire, through elctroshock bugs and crones, which can mess up an av13 wall, especially the templates as they will ignore your skimmers jinks. Plus you don't want to be jinking anyway with the barges as then you can't snapfire at his flyers.
