Hi there. I came up with idea of building a kinda "universal" 1500 pt Ork army, which will be able to deal with any foe (Space Marines, mostly). What should it include?

I think Tankbustas are going to be an auto-include: maybe Megaboss with DLS too.
Deffkoptas for securing objectives.
Some warbikers, cause their survivability is relatively high.
Kustom Mega-kannons for toasting TEQ's.

What are your thoughts, dakkanoughts?

I had a lot of success with the forge world speed freaks bike character and a gak ton of bikes. I tabled my opponent by the start of turn three. Two units of five rokkit deffkoptas, one big unit of bikes, and four 5 man units of bikes.... All units had nobz with PK and a painboy on bike joined the forgeworld bikeboss in the big bike squad. Rokkit deffkoptas popped his land raider and chimeras and then dakka guns lit up the gaurd that ran out and then the command squad wrecked face on the survivors. If you added tankbustas in a truck and some anti aircraft support I think that list would be very good against most lists

Unfortunately, I can't play with any FW models or rules. My opponents won't agree to play with me

I'm playing footsloggas. They're pretty universal.
1-2 large blobs with characters, smaller shoota blobs, grots, 'eavy armored truckboyz, ~10 stormboyz with pk bp nob, big gunz of different sorts and some other stuff like min kommandoes for maelsotrm.

Don't neglect good old fashioned boyz. They are some of the most versatile troops in the game IMO - particularly shoota boyz. The strategy of rolling ridiculous amounts of dice works equally well vs hordes as it does against terminators.
