Unfinished models should be in P&M, not the Showcase.

A couple of points...
1. I usually don't like to have to click multiple steps. If you want comments on your work it might be better to post the picture rather than a link.
2. It is very hard to judge something that is unfinished so the comments may not be relevant to you.
3. From how it looks the paint seems to be a bit thick thus hiding some of the detail in the model. Using a palette and a small amount of water on the brush to thin it will get you a little more smooth result.
4. I can see no shading. It is a very good way to get some interesting details going. The easiest way is to use a wash. You might have to thin the was a bit on the palette if you think the effect is too strong.
5. I also see no highlighting. One easy way to do highlight is to add a very light coat of drybrushing after the wash.
6. Pick out the interesting detail to really get the model to pop.
7. Spend the same effort on making a nice base as with the mini itself so it doesn't take away from the general look.
8. Paint the rim of the base black to frame it and give a more completed look.
Hope this will help some.

Work on your shading for sure.
You need to accent the details a little better, it looks like you picked 3 colors and attacked it.

Put a piece of plain paper behind the model for a better photograph.
As others have said, you'll get much better feedback if you spend an extra hour (30mins?) to paint the whole model before asking for feedback
