The name 'Redcap' does sort of lack bite, but maybe there's a pun somewhere that'll work, and I might be able to use some of the folklore for fluff. I'll definitely keep this in mind.
Any others?

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios
"Da Redcap Sneakerz"
"Da Redcap Backstabbas"
"Redcap'n's Fearless Fightas"(give your general a huge red cap and call him "Redcap'n")
Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines
Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.
Thanks, I actually really like the name Redcap'n. I think that's what I'll name my warboss, thus making the army "Redcap'n's ___________." I'm still not totally sure about what they'll be, though.

When i saw these the firs thing that went through my brain was "The Fire Moon Clan".
Not sure if that does anything for you, but i kinda like it.
If you need to make it more Orky / Gobbo sounding "Da Fya Moon Clan!" works

Eh goo' ol' gobbo' ladz, eh? Da boyz nee' namez. Is tha import'nt, is nod? Skarsnik sayd so, un iff tha king sayz is import'nt then is import'nt.
I play Skarsnik with all is ladz at his disposal. So I have seen many tribes coming and going. Blood spears, Red Moon, Broken hadz, Yellow caps, crooked Moons, Bloody backstabbaz, Nulner ambushers, Crimson Gobboskunk, brave escapers, greedy backrunners etc. the scarlet fakeblades that where utterly destroyed by Galrauch in a not so much epic battle. The great skullsmasher tribe, which 8 shamans had there heads explode at the same turn because of a Slaanesh demon. The "brave skullheads" which rolled up a fortified imperial defence line from the flank with waagh magic and an exploding shaman, who unwillingly sacrificed his head at the wrong moment to get the waagh speel through and nearly cost me a well deserved victory.
No matter what, your name must have a story or you could just call yourself red dumb horde. Have a battle first. Play risky (and probably loose) use all units to your disposal. Use everything within your point limit. (best play with a friend)
Then write a scenario story like "the raid of Schnappelburg" and then watch how heroic or cowardish your units behave. You will have plenty of ideas after the game, not just tribe name but also unit names. My example/experience: the crazy squighoppa unit with Siggun, a warboss on greater squig, that destroyed a big imperial knight unit became: "Siggun's bloodknight eaters" (Blood is meant for the colour of the unit, but everyone will think of the vampire units, but not everyone needs to know the truth, hehehehehe. )
For your tribe start simple and add or change it after every game. gives it more story.
Start with "red hads" after the first lost become "broken red moons" after the first win become "undefeated broken crimson moons" with the first win of the warboss in a challenge or a tricky way "(Sigguns) destroya bloodmoons"
The best thing about NNightgobbos is: there is no rule.
You can change it anytime, for no particular reason. You can make it fun, intimidating, silly, provocative, stupid or plainly bad. No one cares. All your opponents cares about, is not to loose against a night goblin army, because fluff wise it is the most shameful thing that can happen to a general. Just enjoy your victories as much as your losses.

Wow, this is beautifully put! That sort of dynamic storytelling is really what'll make fluff that much more fun and interesting. I'll definitely go all-out on my first few games (as well as most of the others), because the point is ultimately to have fun. Thank you for this.

Fantasy is a great game to enjoy the fluff. So never go without.
You should read the old army books (I started with 3rd Edition and went all the way.) Skarsnik is my favourite. You can read the novel "Skarsnik" it is fun and thrilling. Nice idea how to set your night goblin perspective.
I follow Skarsnik's ideas. I once sent a 100 night goblins as a sacrificial first line and had a second line of a 100 Night Goblins behind which had 15 fanatics. The carnage was amazing. on my sacrifices and the enemy.
Be risky! Enjoy your tribe!
I enjoy not being the only Night Gobbo player. Saruman said: "A new power is rising and their victory is close!" He meant Skarsnik, totally!

I'll definitely check those out. As of now I only (hehe) have about 80 goblins and 3 fanatics, but there are still tons of insane stunts I could try out. There's supposed to be a gamesday at the FLGS next month, so I'm hoping that I'll have my army painted up all nicely by then.
