So in my game the other night, my Chaos Lord managed to not only get instant death, crusader and another wound, but also became a daemon prince! Confusion arose however when we tried to figure out this: if a model becomes a daemon prince, does he keep any of the wargear he had had before? What about the stat boosts from the table? My lord was armed with a Juggernaut, MoK, Axe of Blind Fury and a Sigil of Corruption before he turned.

He is "replaced" by the daemon prince. So he does not keep his wargear. The only things he keeps are the mark of chaos (if any) and the warlord trait (if any).
