Hey dakka, quick question.

Does a daemonic icon work when embarked upon a transport?

i.e would is project an aura around the transport? or just not work at all?

(please don't discuss if daemons can embark on transports here, if that's in any doubt, raise a new question.)

If you are required to measure distance to an embarked unit (i.e. to see if it is range of an Icon), you measure to the hull of the transport vehicle - page 80, Embarking.

Some items of wargear or special rules will state that they work differently when embarked, but I'm guessing Icons don't, so they use the default rule mentioned above.

Also, Daemons can absolutely embark in a CSM vehicle (they are Battle Brothers).
