I've been watching tons of videos on terrain making and everyone uses lots of PVA glue. They are always poring it from gallon jugs and talking about how cheap it is.

Yet I can't seem to find it for less than around $20 a gallon. Is that what everyone else is paying?

Thanks,

Bry

Assuming you're looking at Elmer's Glue-All as an example, $20 a gallon looks about right from a Google search. Possibly cheaper elsewhere online, but shipping costs bring it right back up again.

As an adhesive...$20 per gallon is dirt cheap. That one gallon goes a very long way too. Even when doing full boards of terrain - I don't feel the price is steep enough to shop around. Think it is around $17 or so at the local Sam's Club. Normally buying a bunch of other stuff when I pick it up too though...so I don't pay that close of attention to it.

Here in the Philippines I can get it for 200 pesos (more or less $4) for 1 kilo. I don't know why the use kilos to measure liquid but whatever.

A gallon was enough to:

-Glue down an oversized 4'x7'6" board
-Flock the entire thing
-Flock every surface on half a dozen buildings
-Flock ~100 bases

And I still have 1/8th of it left.

Its more likely to dry out before you ever use it all.
