What are some of the most prevalent things you can put on a Tau Commander/Buffmander?

The common load out is Iridium armor, stim injector, MSSS /C&Cnode, PEN chip, and Drone Controller.

It's expensive, but an incredibly durable commander that will give many buffs to a squad.

I like allying in a FSE troop crisis squad. Throw in a dual plasma commander from FSE, dual Plasma suit, two dual missile suits, throw in 6 marker drones or so, and put the buff commander near the front to tank/distribute wounds.

Gives you a mobile Objective Secured unit, with some good and versatile firepower, and with enough markers to support another unit or two.

I also run a HBC Riptide from FSE with the ECPA. 2 markers for BS5 and another 2 to ignore cover gives you 12 rending BS10 shots.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

Iriudium, PEN Chip and the NSJ (come on, it's literally 2 cents). Nowadays I rather use ML to improve BS/ignore cover than stop my BS5 shooting its good weapons

AI & BFG: / BMG: Mr. Freeze, Deathstroke / Battletech: SR, OWA / Fallout Factions: BoS / HGB: Caprice / Malifaux: Arcanists, Guild, Outcasts / MCP: Mutants / SAGA: Ordensstaat / SW Legion: CIS / WWX: Union

I don't use buffmanders, because it seems like a waste of points to me. I do use a buff suit in a mini Farsight bomb though, its about ~67 points for a cheap one (suit with MSSS and C&Cnode) which massively benefits the other suits.

My typical bomb is Farsight, dual plas suit, 3x dual fusion suits and support suit. It is around 500 points but i think this is a borderline justifiable amount.

I dont know if i'd ever use a buffmander though its upwards of 150 points.

Best builds have been mentioned though.
