I'm new into 40k an WFB ( so as other wargames) so sorry if names are wrong or unknown to me.
But there is m first ever finished model. Hope you like it.
paints used:
badly shaken army primer ( great for corrosion texture)
enamels for basecoat
acrylics for washes

Not bad! Pretty solid for a first model, honestly, but there's definitely some room for improvement. First of all, the "corrosion" texture you're trying to achieve from the badly shaken primer doesn't come off as corrosion. Rather, it just looks like the primer didn't go on right and gives the model a very grainy look. Second, enamel paints are not really your best bet if you're just starting to paint models. Acrylic paints are definitely a much better option because they're easier to thin and there's a number of lines specially catered to go on scale models. This would help your paint job because the paints look a bit thick on this model.
Overall, not bad, but I think you need to reevaluate some of the ingredients (paint & primer) that you're using.

Have to agree with the choice of paints but that said its a decent job with nice clear lines and I love the colour scheme! (even if it is not traditional). Could see a unit of knights in these colours looking pretty bad-ass!

Thank you.
I see a difference between enamels and acrylics and i know that primer texture messed up the whole look. same thing happen in placec with Wracks and just thinking about paintstrip and sand the primer. sadly i have few models started with enamels so have to finish what I've started.
now im using Halfords car primer without any problems.
Jazzhands. I've said to myself and wife that i wont buy anything till I paint what i have but, hell. I'll get Deathwings box and paint it.
Thanks again. next time will try to get better photos as well.

It´s an truth that noone really like to speak of but if you really paint everything you have... well... your dick falls off :(
That´s why all of us have boxes still in their foil.

I'd actually like to commend you on the photography. Clear, nicely done photos are always appreciated, and coming from someone who is new to the hobby is honestly a nice surprise.
DarthBob hit on the major points, so just keep practicing and keep painting.

At the moment have Doomwheel on my desk along with Wracks that needs final touchups but that was before i watched any video or read anything.
Doomwheel will be better. Using a lot of water now and multiple basecoat layers. And there is a big difference.
Also will try move my camera bit further from the model for better focus.
Thank you for all the comments
