Hi all.

Just bought a Stormraven kit online advertised as the standard one, and when it showed up it is the Grey Knights one.

A friend told me they have the same stuff in them, but I wanted to check with people in the know first in case there are any small differences such as iconography, missiles, design, pilot appearance etc. Is the only reason why GW has separate packaging for it because grey knights got stormravens first, and SM got them later?

Any help understanding the differences between the kits would be appreciated.

Thankyou

It's all the same kit, you get BA and GK-specific Icons (as they were the only 2 codexes to have it at first) but can leave those off for a Codex: SM army (or just use the icons from the Drop Pod sprue if appropriate).
