I've been looking at using a unit of Gnoblar Fighters as Night Goblins with hand weapons and nets, but I'm wondering if that would be acceptable by most players' standards. I would be doing slight conversions to match my army's aesthetic and most likely give them shields or a suitable stand-in for the sake of WYSIWYG. I'm aware that Gnoblars possess certain extra special rules which Night Goblins don't and vice versa, but they are otherwise very similar in stats, right?
In fluff they will in fact be Gnoblars who have decided to join in on the fun, but again that's just fluff.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

I doubt anybody will care. You hardly ever see Gnoblars get played anyway.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

I think it should work. I like the idea.
