Last Christmas I was bought a lovely Chaos Giant, which is model I've always wanted ever since I started playing Warhammer. I've finally painted the thing and I'm ready to use it. Does anyone have any pointers on how to effectively use the big ugly lug?

I know it is not extremely competitive, and I know it competes with Skullcrushers (which I don't have a unit of, yet.) but I was thinking of running it along with a Mutalith Vortex Beast, just because I have one of them too and I've never used either.

Your thoughts? Input on the Beast is good too.

Take it to Wapacca, it gives +2 fortitude there

Aside from that use it as a big hammer, it's got good M & can really win a combat by itself.

Mark of Nurgle for starters to buff his toughness. Otherwise even massed S3 is capable of knocking him off.

More cannon bait... Daemon princes chimera etc along side it. The giant will be last on the list of priority for your opponent so he might see combat and have some fun. Mark of slaanesh all the way.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

Giants are pretty effective if they can make it to melee. If you are running several other targets for cannons they'll probably make it.

And there are still only 4/15 armies in the game with cannons.

Monsters are really effective once you have 2-4 of them on the field.

I was going to use it along with the vortex beast and a daemon Prince, so it will be the last target. I really love my massive monsters.
