Ok, this this is a huge shot in the dark, and I have no idea if anyone will even know what I'm talking about. I'm hoping at least one other person played it. I can't remember for the life of me the name of the game, so maybe you all will.
The game was only for the PC, I want to say roughly late 90's. It was a super hero game with that classic semi top down angle of PC RPGs of old. You created your hero/costume and went about various missions which eventually lead to the battle with the main villain. The game was VERY comic booky, which always struck me as a kid. I always found it funny too because your character befriends a scientist who basically finds ways to give you new powers as you advance through the game. The game was pretty much all controlled via mouse, click to move, click on foe to attack.
I wish for the life of me I could remember. I think the very first mission, to help narrow it down, is you're outside a suburb house, crooks have taken refuge in the house and you basically bust in and take em down. It's driving me insane that I can't remember! Automatically Appended Next Post: HA! Never mind, I just found it. Hero X. Had to browse CD covers on Google Images XD
