I thought that you couldn't boost into a ship to rob it of shots? Isn't the rule that if you can't complete the boost, you can't do it? Thought I read that in the FAQ

Got another new battle report. based on feedback we received on our YouTube channel we are looking into ways to improve the way we film games. We will play around with filming each phase in full to give a more cohesive battle report experience.
This video went up a little later than we would have liked but we have a plethora of content coming out over the next few days that has been in the pipe for quite some time.
