Hello, I'm new to the forum and have only recently returned to the hobby after a 15 year hiatus. I would like to explore airbrushing and have recently managed to acquire a Revell Master Class Vario (39202), but I have having trouble finding a hose that connects into the very small inlet of the airbrush. The airbrush was sold with a hose with a coupler slightly too big for the airbrush inlet and the other end being far too large (which I believe may be a 1/4" size). I also received a can of compressed air, which I am planning to use before buying a compressor, and have bought this regulator from ebay which has the same size outlet as the airbrush inlet http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221656372497?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT.

As the hose I had did not seem to fit at either end, I purchased this hose from ebay which has a 1/8" coupler at either end (which is what the inlet of the airbrush and outlet of the can measure on a ruler) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170999095633?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&var=470237187709&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

To my surprise, the hose was far too large for my airbrush, and even larger than the smaller end of my original hose. I therefore am very confused what size my airbrush inlet is and don't really understand the sizes behind couplers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached some photographs below which may help and apologise for the convoluted explanation!

Possibly an issue with BSP vs. NPT fittings? I know that my SOTAR has a similar tiny air inlet, but also came with a screw-on adapter to fit standard 1/8" hoses (my compressor also came with a range of adapters, if I ever need a spare) and a barbed fitting for air can hoses. If yours didn't include any, search on Amazon, Ebay, TCPglobal, etc. for the necessary adapter. Should be able to find the pertinent info through the maufacturer's website or Amazon reviews/answered questions.

Revel use the same fitting as Badger afaik.

I'm reasonably sure that this;

Would adapt the (5mm) airbrush thread to match the 1/8" hoses.
(I would encourage you to confirm that Revel and Badger fittings are the same 5mm thread though)
