Hello everyone, I'm Neil and have recently been reinvigorated to get my Warhammer 40k army ready for a match. However, I have no idea what I'm doing or how to go about doing it. Well I have a vague understanding. I live in Washington state where it rains almost all the time. I came here to utilize that vast amount of talent and knowledge you all have. So I look forward to seeing you on the boards and welcome any and all advice.

Like for starters, Drop Pods. Which is better to equip as the weapon, bolter or missles and why? I have the rule book and by today's standards an old codex for the Space Marines.

Blue? It looks like black to me...

Oh, and hello Neil!
I prefer my drop pods with bolters, because it is cheaper. The missile launchers are not worth the increased cost imo. (but what you really should do is build them with magnets so you can have both)

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Welcome indeed!

I second the magnet idea. Never be the one to impose limits on your own army!

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the particulate.
