In the IG/AM codex it is possible to purchase Enginseers as an independent character and for every Enginseer you have you can take a unit of servitors.

My question is: Are the servitors a separate unit or are they like the Cyberwolfs for Iron Priests and the Enginseer and the servitors can all be attached to another squad?

Servitors are a different unit, so the techpriest will be able to deploy as an indipendant character, and the servitors deploy on their own - the engineseer can, of course, deploy with them, making them actually useful in a game.

so no, you can't attach a techpriest with servitosrs with plasmacannons to a massive blob squad, for example.
