2014 was a very bad year for me in terms of painting. Due to a mix of work, illness, and a dual Engineering major class schedule allowing for less free time than a prison, I painted a whopping grand total of a single miniature last year.
My miniature acquisition rate was not anywhere close to that. The job I worked allowed me to bank a high sum of funds, and a good amount of said funds got dropped into buying into a number of Kickstarters, and buying mini's to use in a mix of tabletop games and
RPG's. Now, with the advent of a new year, I'm sitting on several boxed of blister packs and other assorted mini's waiting to be painted:
Probably about 75 single mini's in these boxes, all for various
RPG's:
A few drawers of Darklands/Mierce stuff along with more single mini's:
And about 3k of Necrons not photographed that are in a box somewhere, waiting for me to buy an airbrush.
And in the near future, I've got the mini's from several Kickstarters arriving this year: 2 Meirce, 2 Mantic, Fireteam Zero, Demigods, Minion Miniatures, a massive Kingdom Death, and about 4 other
KS's.
My goal is to have all of what I currently own to be completed by the end of the year, and I need to use this as a way to keep my self motivated and moving forward. Needless to say I have my work cut out for me.
