Just a quick question here... Because I'm really confused.
As far as I can tell, nothing is stopping them from purchasing a venom or raider, but on battlescribe it doesn't give the option to take a dedicated transport. And then when I looked online, people seem to be implying that they can't take one?
Have I misread something or is it just a glitch in battlescribe because frankly I am stumped.

The codex is always clear on what can take transports and what can't. Mandrakes can't purchase dedicated transports because they don't have the option to. What is there to be confused about?

If you really want them in a transport, just join a cheap archon with a venom to them...

Yeah, it would. Venoms are always a great choice. You can just take an empty venom if you have the fast attack slot free.

You can take a raider or venom as a fast attack choice.
