My group has finished the icestorm campaign, so now we're going to try crafting our own lists and playing each other.

Here's one I made:

Mobile Brigada LT
Intruder HMG (spektr proxy)
Grenzer Sniper
3x Alguacil medics

I had extra points for the medics and figured with their decent WP, they might be handy. Comes to 149 and 3 SWC.

Here's another

Alguacil LT (sneaky, my friends won't see that coming)
Alguacil
Mobile Brigada, combi
Grenzer Sniper
BS Spektr
Revered Healer

Comes to 149 and 2.5 SWC

Obviously options are kinda limited with models and the point level. Is either list noticeably bad or stronger than the other?

Playing: Droids (Legion), Starks (ASOIAF), BB2
Working on: Starks (ASOIAF), Twilight Kin (KoW). Droids (Legion)

Are you playing on a 4x4 table or on the Moto.tronica mat?

Just playing kill the other guy type games?

Probably still the moto.tronica mat, since we may be short on terrain and the armies are small.

It will most likely be a "kill em all" game. We're still learning and I figure this will give us a chance to build our own list and try some of the other weapons out. The tohaa guy is going to have link teams too.

Cool, I am pretty much in the same boat, so I will be likely using a lot of the same lists for learning and what not myself.

So I don't really have much experience myself, but if you are trying to make the 'strongest' list for playing on a mat that is less than 2x3, I'm not sure if sniper rifles are worth it. I've only played a couple of scenarios from O:I so far, but it seemed like almost all of the attacks happened from 0-24 inches, and especially around the 12" mark. With that in mind I would take mostly weapon choices for that kind of range like Multi-rifles, shotguns, and combis, and a HMG guy over the sniper.

paramedics don't use WIP, they use medkits that roll on the patient's PHY -3.

Good point. I think I'll switch it out to a Grenzer with a spitfire. I want to try that weapon out.

Damn. Well any ideas on what to do to fill up points on that list? If I drop the sniper rifle like Machael Bishop suggested (I think it makes sense), I'll have 9 points left over.

Here's one I made for when to try out hacking. For 150pt annihilation using O:I models only it's probably pretty inefficient, but I am determined to hack my brother's BTS9 Father-Knight just for the lols.

MoBrig LT - Multi R + L.Flamer 39
RevHeal - Multi R, Nano, ExCCW 37
Spektr - AssHackDev, Combi. 36/0.5
Alguacil - FO, Dep. Repeater, Combi 12
Alguacil - FO, Dep. Repeater, Combi 12
Alguacil - Combi + LGL 14/1

150/1.5
