I have recently got the tyranid swarm starter kit and I'm lolling for the next models or kit I should get any suggestions don't reall have a point limit yet just put 1500 cause I had to

Hive Tyrant

One more Carnifex, a Hive Tyrant or two as twin Flyrants and a set of the Zoanthropes, with two Zoas and one Venomthrope. That gives you a decent net list for a while as long as you stay out of tournaments. Make adjustments for shooting units as you like. Exocrine and some Biovores maybe?

You'll be wanting a Hive Tyrant, you'll want a second one down the line, but one for sure. I recommend a box of Warriors as well for a durable source of Synapse. Warriors are middle of the road, but they are needed for several Formations, and they count as Troops.

After that it starts being a matter of "style", plus your local "meta". The current "hot" build is lots of Tyrants, with a side of Moar Tyrants!! Take a hard look at the Heavy Slots, as that is a place where our Codex tends to shine. Carnifexen with Brain Leeches are very good, and I personally really like Tyrannofex (with acid spray, and a thorax hive)

Mawlocs are also dang good, and very affordable points wise. You already have one Carnifex, so you might look at adding 1 or 2 more, or a Tyrannofex.
