I have painted quite a few of the models from the DV box and finally decided to add them to the showcase! I'll start out with the Hellbrute and then add on as I take photos of the rest. At this point I am somewhat disappointed though in the quality of the photo. After taking the picture and viewing it on the computer it comes of as really sharp but as I upload it to Dakka it ends up looking the opposite. At any rate here goes! I'd like any feedback you got!

I like the flesh, I like the armour, i like the smoke stacks, I love the base.............. But........ I think the face could use being a different shade from the rest of the flesh to make it stand out more. That's my opinion though, with that exception though I really like it!

Thank you!
I see your point =) I have really poor color-sight though so using highlights is a problem for me =(

Very nicely done and I really like the theme. Couple things if you do not mind me adding

Paint seems a bit thick, I i would try a thin layer of base "darkest red" then a quick highlight with a red glaze.
Highlights on the black cape would really help alot.

Yes I agree, they are thick =( I have started painting using much more thinned downed paints though! So future models will hopefully look much better =)

How would you highlight the cape?
