20 man tourney this coming weekend. 2 lists are allowed so I am trying to set up my second. The goal is the bikes get into combat and hold back there troops while the rhino moves to take objectives as needed. The cultists are more there to meet CAD requirements, and to hold objectives after the PM take them. I have 20 left and am thinking PA on the DP and glide him not swoop. There is normally enough cover I will get the 2+ cover anyways, and I can use him to go into CC and wipe what ever is needed. There will be no super heavys or D weapons in the tourney.

I feel like I am missing something. I was thinking about 5 PM, lvl 2 DP but I could take a second Heldrakes. My second box of Oblits should be here on Friday so I might go with a 2 and a 3 man unit wise the second heldrakes and that would allow the DP to stay LvL 3? Any input is much appreciated.

Contravertially I wouldn't bother with the burning brand. You should have no trouble killing marines, and shooting them first makes it harder to assault.

Oh and you can totally still jink when gliding, taking that 2+ cover with you.

You haven't listed combat weapons for the lord? Take at least a fist, and add a claw if you can.

I went with the Brand to get some more Ignor Cover. I Did want to go with a power fist sadly for me its a w.y.s.i.w.y.g. tourney, and I didnt have any extra fists laying around to model it with. Do you think swapping the Brang out for maybe Murder Sword (Normally not a huge fan, but I have the bits to make w.y.s.i.w.y.g and it gives AP 3)

Could you manage sword & axe? Keeps your options covered.

Personally I dont rate the murder sword for the points but it looks ok.

If you have the crimson slaughter or black legion supplements there are some better relic options.
