I had some ideas before, but after testing they were pretty weak at 1k. Fateweaver wasnt worth it at 1k. Belakor pulls his weight decently better than fateweaver at 1k in my experiences, and a screamerstar with belakor could be far more beneficial with the guaranteed abilities and cover saves. I'm thinking either a mini fmc list, which is quite iffy or most likely this list:

HQ: 675
Belakor - 350
Herald of Tzeentch on disc, ML3, exalted reward, and locus - 175
Herald of Tzeentch on disc, ML3, exalted reward -150

Troops: 171
3x Nurglings - 45
14x Pink Horrors - 126

Fast Attack: 150

I know I'm playing against a few eldar players fielding some wave serpents. I'm also going to be against some ultramarines and Dark Angels. One of the scariest lists is AM with 4x Chimera w/CCS and vet squads, and 2 wyverns barraging everything to death in most lists. I'll have offensive output with the star and belakor, and i can summon with all my malefic rolls. So far i can't come up with a better idea at 1k. ( I don't have the models for beaststar) Any advice or opinions on what I could do?

I think that Kairos is far better than Be'Lakor. Be'lakor has the guaranteed Invisibility, but since it is a psychic power it can be denied, meaning that should you have a bad turn where the Screamerstar fails its Grimoire and Invisibility is denied, you pretty much lose your entire army.

Kairos on the other hand makes your star far more resilient, since the re-roll can be used on the Grimoire, should it fail, thus (almost) guarantying you at least a 3++ save (if you do not have Cursed Earth/Forewarning), plus it cannot be denied. Kairos also gives you the occasional shooting and better chances on the Warp Storm table with his warlord trait.

This comes at 998 points. The Pink Horrors will stay at the back field, summoning other daemons as needed.

Just to be awkward, id probably favour belakor. Yes he's more points, but he can fairly reliably cloak a unit. (At least comparable to grimoire, even with. Reroll), can also cast shrouding, comes with a decent save

But he really makes his mark when it comes to killing stuff. S7 armourbane fleshbane, not a lot can stand up to that.

However I wouldn't bother even trying to use the grimoire with fateweaver, it backfires too easily.
