I am starting to collect space marines minis for Warhammer, and I've decided that I am going to do a combined ultramarine/crimson fist army. I recently purchased a sterngaurd squad after I realized that they can shoot like four different kinds of ammo when equipped with boltguns. My initial thought was: "Hey, this is just like Judge Dredd's Lawgiver." So, having recently played Judge Dredd vs. Death, as I went through the different forms of ammunition that the sterngaurd can use, I found myself saying to myself:

Incendiary (Dragonfire Bolts)
Armor Piercing (Kraken Bolts)
High Ex[plosive] (Vengeance Rounds)

I didn't notice the hellfire rounds until afterwards.

Anyway, this got me thinking...so, I want the sterngaurd to count as crimson fists. On the other hand, I want to paint them to look like Megacity-1 judges. So, if I were to paint them to look like megacity one judges (albeit with a darker blue), and then paint the hands red and tack on a red fist (probably on the shoulder pads), would this be considered koscher, so to speak?

It's your army of want you want, I personally think that this is a great idea, as a good Dredd fan myself. The helmets would be red, and the decals could be golden.
