As the title says, this is my first attempt at an Ork vehicle. Would appreciate any feedback, especially from any Veteran Greeksins out there.

Thanks for looking!

Looks like an Ork rust bucket IMO. Great job

I like that a lot. It even looks like it would go with my old ork army I used to have. I did the same yellow with the weathering. Did you use a sponge to do it?

Thanks guys, appreciate it.

Only other vehicles i've painted have been Marines, so wasn't sure if i'd overdone the junkyard look.

Yeah i used a sponge for the weathering, on the Boyz i've been using a brush to do it, but I might switch to a sponge after doing the trukk. Its alot quicker.

It looks good, what bits did you use for the blast plate on the rokkits?

Nice work. Weathering isn't overdone, it definitely has that Ork Junkyard look, and I like the grot operating the Rokkit Launcher. The Ork Big Shoota that is normally there doesn't fit very well.

Pretty good, but you kind of forgot that red ones go fasta

They're from the Meganobz kit, you use them to make the MANZ shoots into Kombi's. You could also cut them off the front of the regular Nob Kombi-weapons.

Nice! I like the yellow! Not such a fan of the solid red missiles though. Over all nice work

That is a really good job on the yellow. The bed looks nice also.

Nice, I like it. Two things I'd personally like to see:

White tips/stripes on those rokkits, the red by itself looks unfinished.
White areas on the checks instead of yellow. It will make the checks stand out more and hide the border lines of the freehand as well.

I agree, the red looks unfinished next to the great weathering everywhere else. Also, the engine's usually the dirtiest part of a vehicle, not the cleanest otherwise, looks good.

The cab and the mancatcher on front are so nice. I love both the rusty metal and the great chipping on the yellow paint.

The only problem is that it makes the rest of the model look worse. The weathered metal looks so good that it sets me up to expect weathering on the tires, or grime on the engine. Its high contrast lushness makes the green on the skin look flat, as well as the red on the rocket. It makes it look like you have this great skill, but decided not to bother with it some of the time.

Throw some more wash and weathering powder at the tires and engine and get the base coat on the orks themselves a little stronger, then give it some highlights , and this could be more than merely a good first start (which it is), but a great model even for a veteran.

Thanks for the C&C! Really appreciate comments like this. I'll go back and take a look and implementing some of these changes.

The rust effect in the rear is great, nicely done, and the weathering on the yellow painted parts is very effective.
But I have to agree with the other posts, the engine bay and tyres look too clean when they should be gopping.

The red parts do have some light black stippling, the engine is undeniably a little clean, the wheels have been dry-brushed with brown/grey but its not a heavy weathering.

These are all things I can improve though, so thats great.
