I'm a bit unsure about my Winged Hive Tyrant (Games Workshop Plastic Kit, with Forgeworld Dakka)

Maybe I'm just being pedantic/over-cautious, but he seems to 'wobble' somewhat when you move him, particularly if moved by the base (for obvious reasons). The base is weighed down with heavy slate scenery, but the top of the figure jiggles quite noticably.

I guess the tail must be bending slightly, but I worry about the long-term strength and also what effect this might have upon the paintjob.

I'm quite concerned about this, if anyone with a Flyrant could just confirm this is normal (or not) it would really put my mind at rest. I don't wanna go drilling steel rods into it if it's not neccasary.

Plastic is slightly flexible. It's not too bad. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Mine does it, too.
Also, I don't imagine the model will undergo that sort of ... movement too much during its life.

Get your models on the table and looking good!

I wasn't planning on doing that with it too often lol, but since it's a PITA to transport I can see that part undergoing some stress in transit.

At any rate, knowing it's not a factory fail or whatever puts my mind at rest and I can get on with the project - many thanks for responding

Mine wobbles like that and hasn't broken yet for me. Although, I didn't glue the torso to the legs. Made it easier to transport.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?
