At what point did the Death guard change there colour scheme?
I really like the pre-heresy white and green, just wondering if they would of had plague marines in their ranks before they changed scheme.

I thought the CSM codex says the color of their armour is literally so ridden with filth it's got puke green?

Probably when they fled into the eye of terror, after losing at the battle of Terra

I'm don't think they did, it was more of an organic rot of the white. Nothing stays white forever without cleaning and I doubt the are spit and polish type marines....

I would wager it was sometime after Typhon became Typhus on the ship he was stuck on, and going to their new home in the eye of terror.

You know, I imagine Nurgle probably hates white buahahah.

Oh and just for kicks, here's my deathguard scheme I'll be going with on my 30k dudes:

Age of Sigmar - It's sorta like a clogged toilet, where the muck crests over the rim and onto the floor. Somehow 'ground marines' were created from this...

If I was going to do 40k DG, I think I'd paint them their pre heresy colours and then weather and patina the crap out of it, so you can just see the original colours underneath. Probably a fairly time consuming method but I think it would have a good effect.
