Announced six months ago, and we still don't have it yet! Chinese New Years is about to hit, so if FFG hasn't received it yet, then we won't see it until late March, maybe April! What gives FFG?!?! You said we'd have it back in November...

I'm just super excited for a faction that isn't Rebel or Empire! LOL

This surprises you? I've only been playing this game for less than a year and know better than to expect FFG to come out with anything that it says it will.

Rule of thumb - preorder at your LGS, one random weekend a year down the road gives you a pleasant surprise.

I'm not prejudiced, I hate everyone equally

Sadly this is the issue with FFG. Superb products with mediocre logistics.

I hope this gets sorted soon.

Anyone with stuff shipping into the Left Coast of the US (which I would imagine all FFG stuff is shipped in there from the manufacturer in Asia) is likely facing delays. I know that Wizkids is another victim of the dock work slowdown/stoppage/strike that is currently going on. For FFG this is just further increased because of the way they run their business.

I'm evil....I printed out the cards off the Wikia page and used existing models as their Scum counterparts. I only play friendly home games, so my opponents don't care in the slightest. Though I'll probably get the main set anyway for another of those three ships.

Found it. On a ship. sitting at anchor. Waiting for the West coast Port Strike to get resolved.

There wasn't a strike at any time at the ports and the DoL has given the longshoremen and the shippers a mutually beneficial agreement that still needs to be ratified by the body (it will pass). Dock operations resumed at full capacity Saturday night.

No Strike? Then what is it called when the workers don't do their jobs during a labor dispute?

That isn't what was happening.

After negotiations over the contract soured, the shipper lines/dock owners accused the longshoremen (who have been working without a contract since July) of a work slowdown, the longshoremen denied it (though it was pretty obvious it was happening). In retaliation, the dock owners began cutting weekend, overnight, and overtime hours which made the purported slowdown even worse and caused a massive backlog that will take a few months to correct.

Wait, is it an official wiki page? Link? I also only play with friends, though I've preordered all the Scum stuff anyway. Still, there are a few cards I need but don't want to have to buy the set just for the card.

This is the page I found way back when I started X-Wing. They don't have all the cards, but pretty much everything that's been shown online is there. So fir instance, you don't want to have to buy several of a ship you don't really want to get the cards it comes with, but are fine with printing out your own cards. Like for instance I probably won't get an Imperial Raider (but I still might!), but I sure want some of those Advanced X1 cards for my home games.

It's also a good listing on what cards come with each product.

Our local store in northern VA has said his will be in on Wednesday. Along with the next Heroclix expansion.

My wallet just whimpered.

I suggest you don't believe anything posted by thedarkavenger unless confirmed by other regular posters here at Dakka. He has shown he is incapable of basic English comprehension.

I also suspect the dock strike is screwing with it. I wouldn't hold FFG or any game stores (not that anyone suggested game stores!!) at fault. Granted, FFG is terrible with times. But this time around it isn't actually their fault. Keep calm, we'll get awesome stuff soon!!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

My FLGS is beginning to sell them tomorrow.

I'll be getting Most Wanted, StarViper, and M3-A. I'm more interesting in the upgrade cards, but it will pretty cool to be able to fly a S&V squadron.

Looking forward to tomorrow when the LGS opens. Only going in for 1 of each save the Scyk for now, not sure when I'll pick some of those up, probably when I get an idea for them. The rest have upgrades I want, or are part of lists I want to try.

ordered from MM so my stuff probably won't arrive until end of the week if they haven't gotten theirs yet. Ordered 2 of everything, since Scum is going to be my main faction I think.

I picked my goodies up from my FLGS today... I'm actually pretty excited to fly a S&V squadron at some point, mainly to fly Boba and Kath because I've never flown my Firespray in a game.

Nice to see S&V is trickling into FLGS's. No word from my FLGS yet- I sometimes think they order stuff from their distributor and forget about it until it shows up... then it's a wonderful surprise to everyone!

Is there anything you guys are buying multiples of? I really like the Star Viper, and think I'll be getting two of those. Looks like two of IG-2000's will be a thing, so I might eventually get two of them. Based on looks alone, the M3-A Interceptor looks kinda bad. I'll probably grab one for the cards, but I'm not too keen on the ship. /shrug

The only thing in the Scyk that isn't elsewhere is the flechette cannon. I completely skipped it and just got one of everything else til I decide what to do with Scum.
