Just bought Smaug and I was wondering how difficult it was to put together? They said the resin is Forgeworld grade, so does this mean I'm gonna have to do a lot of reshaping, using rubber bands over night while it dries....etc

Thanks

To be completely honest i'd say get rid of it now! I would happily take it off your hands to safely dispose of it!

The resin seems pretty thick grade so i don't think too much reshaping will be needed, maybe on some of the fiddlier parts. All the ones i've seen haven't had TOO many issues... Yet...

There will be gaps to fill though like most models.

Can't help you with the retention, but i assume most bits won't need anything to hold it.

All this comes from no experience so i may be wrong, but this is just what i think. Also, my offer still stands...

"Show no mercy, show no restraint! Feel the Emperor's fury flow through your veins and let it fuel our whirlwind of gore!"

This is a forgeworld model and should be treated as such. Wear a mask when cutting, filing, grinding, etc.

PINNING IS A MUST

Gap filling will be required. There is no way around this.

It is a $500 model............please please please give it the love and attention it deserves

Yeah I was thinking the samething. I was wondering if any one on dakka had one and was willing to share their experience with building theirs.

So few people got one. Have you asked on the last alliance or one ring forum?
