Hello guys/girls.

This is my first time posting after a few years of reading DakkaDakka.

I am an ork only player, and am just getting into conversions for the larger models.

A year or so ago my friends and I purchased 3 Laviathan crusaders that where discounted at the time.

They wanted to make some Contemptor Dreadnoughts and I was after a mega dread.

After my fist effort at the megga they quickly donated there crusaders to the megadread cause.

The past few days I have assembled the 2nd kit and made a kustom mecha dread, there are more models/kits involved in this that I can list (Including Lego parts) and my bits box has been hammered.
I have used a mix of super glue and hot glue, the shape is where I want it but it is not complete yet.
I have more detail to add to it (Cogs and glyphs)

but I thought I would share the pics and seek advice and suggestions.
I am still new to conversions and not a strong painter, most of what I know I learnt here .

Thanks . I think they are 15mm, I stuck an ork in one of the pics for scale. I think the new one is closer to the size of a knight. I agree the symmetry is a bit off with the saw, I was trying to balance it with the KFF "radio valve" on the back. I'll try to add a little more mass to even it out, the rattler cannon does defiantly needs more work. But I do kinda like the awkward style from the enormous blade. .

YES, THIS, MORE SLICEY!

AHAHA, sorry guys, i only had one sawblade, but i am sure i can find more spiky Bitz for it.
i had an idea last night, i had been saving this gun to build a Warcopta with rattler cannon out of.
literally built around it due to the size and wight of the thing.

what do you think ? overkill ?

i do love how well these leviathan where designed, the arms are modular, the come off really easy and can be swapped between models or even just a left and right arm swap

Finished sticking things to it ,
A bit of undercoat and this is it.

I played a game with it the other day and discovered that a rattler kannon, while nice on paper, is not very good against space marines... my primary foe.
So i have made a big zappa/shunter.
Ill make the 2nd claw later.
