But which of the forces of destuction armies in warhammer fantasy could seriously make a case for world domination in the modern world today???

Warriors of Chaos
Beastmen
Skaven
Orcs & goblins
Dark Elves
Vampire Counts
Deamons of Chaos

Skaven.

Machine guns, bombs, lasers, poison gas, bio-chemical weapons, massive amounts of bodies some of which are genetically enhanced, vast intelligence networks, targeted assassinations. Only thing they are missing is aircraft, but who needs that when you can eliminate opposing air forces by swarming their airfields from tunnel networks.

Vampire Counts get the second place nod, as being able to raise their losses would win a war of attrition.

My vote goes for Vampire counts
we all know that people couldnt deal with uncoordinated zombie invasions (walking dead)
well how about dealing with hordes of coordinated undead attacks

and the ace up the sleeve are the ghosts and hexwraiths, cairn wraiths, banshees....bullets and bombs go right through them

If Tamurkhan is believed, there's freakin' tons of Chaos Dwarves.

My money is Skaven however. Depending on which fluff era you're in, it has been stated that if the Skaven would just get their gak together and work together without stabbing each other in the back, they outnumber all the surface dwellers combined.

Undead are another contender : on an infinite timeline, they have limitless reinforcements, and passive reinforcements near every major population center (cemeteries).

Daemons are probably third as they are limitless and numberless, but require an anchor head into the material world.

Only the vampire counts or daemons have any shot at it. The VCs could just raise our own troops with guns and their ethereal units are essentially invulnerable to us.

The daemons would be entirely dependent on how big the rift that opens is. A big enough rift would shatter human societies across the globe and leave us without intact armies.

Skaven don't have the tech or even numbers to take on the modern world. If they were left unchecked, were allowed to steal tech, and could unite then any force could do it.

Skaven. Not only are they a very versatile race, they also team up with Goblins. And really...an army of Goblins AND Skaven? Good night, sweet prince.

Plus, people loooovvve Vampires see various and varied TV shows

Lahmian vampires would be right in their element - they just need to talk about how misunderstood they are on a few chat shows and become global superstars - many of them don't even worry about the sun that much then they consolidate their power......

plus - eternal life is a powerful bribe to any one who seeks power - not sure many of those who are in power today would turn it down......

Would chaos dwarves be the equivalent of North Korea? A small, insular kingdom built on the backs of slaves and ruled over by a tyrant, obsessed with building weapons of mass destruction?

How about the other factions?

Skaven as ISIS - suicide bombers and trafficking illicit goods (warpstone)?

VCs would probably have positions of influence and power too. They could cause global meltdown by interfering with finances and causing wars in far off places to distract us and turn us on ourselves whilst they undertake their Big Evil Plan.

Lousy sons of beeetches.

Vampire Diaries / Originals - Voilence, comedey, much fun and Sexy girls whats not too like ...........

Vamps don't sparkle - in fact Season 1:

amon Salvatore: What's so special about this Bella girl? Edward's so wipped.

Caroline Forbes: You have to read the first book first, otherwise it won't make sense.

Damon Salvatore: Uh, I miss Ann Rice, she was so on it.

Caroline Forbes: Hey, how come you don't sparkle?

Damon Salvatore: Because I live in the real world where vampires burn in the sun.

Caroline Forbes: Yeah, but you go in the sun.

Damon Salvatore: I have a ring, it protects me. It's complicated.

I vote for Vampire and Daemon because of their supernatural powers.

Everything in the list are flesh and blood... my shotgun can handle most anything. Our military will destroyed those fools. One F15 will kill almost the whole horde of X army in open ground.

Skaven might be a problem at first.. then no more problem once we nuke them or just shoot them to death.

Undead and daemons is freaking scary...you can't kill them because they come back. I would assume that human will start making holy weapons using silver or whatever...

But I can see Vamp and Daemons causing apocalyptic nightmare situation.

Looking at the numbers of casualties every last war inflicted, and considering the military tech we have at our disposal, I think we'd wipe out pretty much everything, from skaven to dark elves.
Daemons can't really world dominate, since they are unstable and their grunts don't last long enough out of the warp to actually conquer territory.
Vampires might have a shot at it using ethereal armies - but even then, who you gonna call?

Now, if those races started small and had a chance to technologically get up to date...

Given how organized Chaos Dwarfs are compared to Skaven, I do think they could be a bigger threat considering that in the modern day they'd likely be able to get access to modern day technology and reverse engineer it. And unlike Skaven they wouldn't need to worry about nuking themselves in a backstabbing attempt
