So now with the new dex out I'm looking into a wraith heavy list with as much tesla as I can afford (now that the cost of Abarges and night scythes have gone up considerably). Although for the cost hike giving IWND to all of our vehicles is huge I think - or at least we'll find out anyway.

You know they no longer get the bonus hits if they are snapshooting the tesla, right?

Yeah, that's a down side and also another good reason for taking 3 NS. Tesla definitely got hit by the nerf bat this time around but it's still the best heavy gun we've got (I think anyway).

The 6+ IWND is for Heavy and Super Heavy vehicles only sadly.

Unfortunately I think the annihilation barge is no longer the go to heavy support choice for necrons. I think heavy destroyers are a real possibility now with an extra wound and 10 point per model cost reduction. Put a triarch stalker next to them and you have bs 5 with preferred enemy. T5 and the way the re animation works now these guys are who I'm taking going forward, as model count allows. Also the transdimensional Beamer got a huge boost if you're going that wraith heavy you should use them.

This is almost the list I played in the 6th edition, with the Overlord replaced by a DLord.
In the new book I'd opt for decursion which you almost have and a Wraithwing formation or two.

I missed IWND being only applied to heavies and super heavies. Drat. Oh well still good for the ABarge. I agree the heavy destroyer may experience a resurgence but it's still only a single shot while ABarge's can mow down hordes.
