So I got most or all of a Garlak's Barbarous Horde, maybe even a few more minis... hard to tell. Anyway... after splitting things up for multibasing I think I could make the following: ~40 Orc Ax I figure I've got enough to space out on a couple of regiment (krudgiment?) bases, and could easily double up to do a krudgehorde. ~40 Morax, same as the Ax, couple of regiments that can combine for a horde. ~60 Greatax, maybe 3 regiment bases with option to run a horde and a regiment. 10 gore riders (2x5, 10, whatever) maybe upwards of a regiment of Orclings The metal krudger on boar, and I could probably dig up an old D&D black dragon for a winged slasher... I would probably have to buy or source the wizard character, but I've got extra standards I could probably use to make flaggers. I've also got a couple of old GW giants that would fill in well. That's what I've got to work with. How should I use it? What might I need to buy to expand the list or get full function out of it? Do they need allies to get access to war machines or anything? What about the Gore Chariots and Fight Wagons? I could probably cobble some together out of bits and scraps, are they useful to bring along? I think I have 4 extra old GW boars I could use to pull them (and really the fight wagons I could probably just improvise or press-mold some boar feet to stick out of the enclosed box it mentions...), but how many would be good to take? Singles, trios, regiments? Are the chariots better than taking gores such that I should cannibalize the gore riders to make chariots? What about using some of the gore riders for mounted flaggers? HALP! I could probably make however many flaggers I need... is there a good rule of thumb for those? Thanks for looking, I'm a KoW n00b and generally just get to paint... But I tend to like my units to make sense. If fight wagons and chariots are good then I'm happy to cobble some together. The wagons especially seem like they'd be easier to improvise out of parts...
