Hello Dakka!

I have been slowly getting more and more into the tournament scene and will be traveling along the east coast to some of the more major events this year. I was wondering if you guys had any tips as far as the best way to transport an army on trains, plains, etc.

My army has 5 Flyrants, 2 Mawlocs, 1 Crone so lots of large and unwieldy models.

Have you guys had any luck with the well known case companies for custom foam? Is it worth the money? Any advice on how to go about this would be great.

I love my Battlefoam cases! Their tray builder is really well done and you can easily customize your load-out.

It will be expensive whichever way you go... KR has been good to me.

Excrete them into some mycetic spores and belch them into the atmosphere of your LFGS.

Alternatively, KR are your best bet

Gotta back up KR here, I don't own any but the ones I've seen in person are super cool and fit a lot.
