Hey,

So, I recently scored 5 sets of terminator legs for free thanks to a mishap with a bitz seller who has said I can keep the legs as an apology (I bought PA legs, they sent TDA legs, and now I'm ending up with both)

So....anyone got any thoughts on conversions I can use them for? Natural first thought was 'how much are torsos...', but then I'd need to buy arms, heads, etc, and I don't have a serious need for terminators. So I'm wondering if anyone has any other thoughts for how to use 5 sets of TDA legs.

EDIT: I'm a SM player, so useful model conversion ideas are good

True scaling marines is the standard use, attach a SM torso, bluk it up a bit with plasticard or green stuff.

This was my attempt

I also used some to make an oversized tech marine.

Though i should note both used termi arms.

You could model them hanging out of the mouths, or underfoot, of monstrous creatures.

Mega Armored Nobz conversions.

Stick a pair of them sticking out of a barrel

Trade them to other people who use them for truscale space marine conversions

Artscale might be the way to go, I also have a small stock of termi arms. I don't have a techmarine yet.....hmmmmm.

You could also do something funky like do all of your Stern Guard or Sergents as true scale to tower over your normal marines.

Maybe a devastator squad, the legs on their armor is reinforced to handle the heavy weapons?

I did this, and it looks pretty good scale wise. Maybe cut down the waist slightly is all

Canada eh?

It looks good. It makes them look like they are actually adeptus astartes and not humans in power armour.

Yeah... Not the best person to talk to no more, great fandom(sarcasm)

I started kitbashing an artscale techmarine, it looks pretty decent. Thinking about doing an artscale lone wolf for my allied space wolves (possibly mounting on a termie base and making him a termie lone wolf), and possibly artscale captain/chaplain/librarian or an artscale honour guard.
