Subject: modelling space marine legs and converting for a diorama

Bounding Ultramarine Assault Trooper

Hello, i am currently building a space marine diorama and have been converting the legs because as i am sure any sm modeller knows the legs only look good in one pose. i have managed to get some quite convincing poses (picture of i will post later) but it takes a heck of a lot time (and greenstuff skills) and i feel it is not that efficient.
i was wondering if you had any ideas on how to do it or point me towards some other tutorials about the same thing
looking forward to your ideas

Have you tried looking at the many different model making companies? I'm no expert, but someone may have legs that work for marines, and in a variety of different poses. Worth a shot if you haven't.

Way back when White Dwarf had content I remember an article for reposing Marine legs. Basically cut out all of the bendy points and pin between hip/thigh/knee pad/shin/boot. You'll end up losing most of the foot and have to resculpt it along with the flex points, but it sounds like you're currently sculpting the entire leg, so probably a step up.

gets you not many but a couple extra poses
mix assault marine and normal marine legs, to have them sanding on rocks, ect..
