Yo! This is my first time posting an update here in ages. I used to go by "Ziggy da' Goon" but that was a little old hat. I needed a change, and so this account was reborn... into the service of Chaos.

But not the Chaos you know today, no way. Over the last couple months I've been collecting, putting together and painting a small warband built almost entirely out of long OoP Chaos models. Reading up on my copies of the Realm of Chaos sourcebooks has sent my imagination soaring. There's just something about retro fantasy, especially GW retro fantasy that just makes me so happy! The models may not be... very pretty (especially the early edition daemonettes, yikes! Look at em!), but they've definitely got some sort of quality to them that makes me swoon.

Anyway, the goal was to create the most colourful and marvelous army I've ever put together, and I think I've certainly accomplished that. It's a nice change to my normal gritty style, and a refreshing escape from the super-serious atmosphere that GW has really pushed lately.

So here's the warband! Led by the debased and cruel Ashmodeus Harkonnen, this warband represents an unholy alliance by the two most vivid Chaos powers: Tzeentch and Slaanesh.
