hey dakka, was just wondering if in general would people mind that if i modeled my lychgaurd with the warcythe in one hand and hold the dispersion shield in the other. Obviously i know that weapon loadout is not possible rulewise, but it'd look better to me lol. But seeing how WYSIWYG is a thing would people loose their gak even if i tell them what they have before the game? I'd see it as a way to model them to 1. look more aesthetically pleasing to me and 2. a way to model them to where i dotn have to magnetize them for either option depending on what i take on them ie going WS or HPS+DS. figured id ask you guys on dakka for a consensus before i took the plunge

This is something that you'd really need to run past your regular opponents.

Well personally, I'm good with anything and everything as long as I'm told what it is at the start of the game. Hell, I'd even prefer it if it looks awesome.

That's just me though and obviously each and every opponent you face might have differing opinions.

I was thinking of doing exactly that. I don't go to tournaments, so I don't need to worry about WYSIWYG. The shield just looks too cool to not use, but the war scythe is too good of a weapon to pass up. As long as your opponents know what equipment is actually in use, there shouldn't be a problem in casual games.

Already ran up three Scythe and Shield unit sergeants to go with the rest of the unit members, and a Scythe and Shield with a Wraith tail below the waist as an Obyron.

Just seemed the obvious thing to do.
