All my friends at school have proxy decks. What's a good starter proxy deck? I've played a game borrowing one of my friend's decks. I'm thinking about making something with Black/Blue or Black/White or Black/White. I'd like to be able to push some low cost creatures and then build up enough mana to play something pretty devastating. I've got a question here. What cards/how many should I play? How many lands should I play in a 60 card deck?

When you say proxy decks, are they just using cards that they can't afford to buy that they want to run in a deck that works with them, or making P9 proxies?

They just like making decks with cards that they can't afford, so they print out the cards on printer paper. I did just test my deck. It has way too much land and not enough instants. Any good white creatures/instants?

TN/AL/MS state line.

Isamaru, Hound of Konda isn't a bad creature. Are you monocolored or dual colored? Or more? Are you playing a specific format(Modern, Standard, Legacy)? Are you putting a pirice limit on proxies?

Generally speaking, rule of thumb is 20 Creatures, 20 Spells, 20. Lands. Most of the time you'll run about 24 lands, but if you're going with white weenie you can cut it down to 20-22. Control runs more spells than creatures usually, and wants to hit all of it's land drops, so not uncommon to go over 24. Zoo and Beatdown decks hover around 20+ creatures. As always, exceptions exist.

over there

Google the turn zero win deck, it can be very fun if you play proxies, just dont count on having friends.

The west is on its death spiral.

It was a good run.
