Hey everyone.

Spaz Stix makes a holographic paint, mainly for remote control cars, and is perfect for what I need.

It is offered in both 3.5 aerosol can and 2 oz prethinned for airbrush with a couple dollars difference.

I got an airbrush recently though have not used it yet. Never used one before.

Trying to make an informed decision, why would you pick one over the other?

The aerosol seems easiest but am I missing anything by not going airbrush?

Your going to have much more control of the spray out of the airbrush, and much less waste.

Not knowing the specifics of the paint you mentioned, airbrush however is a far better choice in general for miniatures imo as darefsky says.

I would expect them to offer some advice on how large a nozzle is required to get the right level of spray for the effect to work at its best.

Bear in mind that this sounds like a solvent based paint, I'd still go outside to spray it unless youve got a decent extraction setup.
The spray can might just be more convenient still? (I still use them for some things despite having 3 airbrushes and 2 hvlp gun available)

Id go with airbush every time man, so much more control. I just started working with mine, and it is intimidating at first, but easy to use. Do it!
