Hey there!
I've just discovered with joy that forge world apparently considers IG and MT the same thing, so MT can take IG choices.
More specifically, I play MT allies for my Inquisition and Deathwing armies, and I'd love some tips on anything you consider good and/or fluffy to take as MT Elites, troops or Heavy Support (I already always use 1 HQ, 1 Fast attack and 1 troops choice). These armies basically mean that I'm always missing anti-horde and tarpits, but anything good would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Vultures sound like something the MT would use. Basically a plane with options for anything. Twin-linked punisher is my favorite.Could answer your anti horde.

Cool! But I'm especially looking for heavy support or elites...
Because MT already have valkyries (which are good fast attack, and which can transport my Inquisitorial henchmen).
Any other ides for those slots?

Wyverns are one of the best anti-horde choices in the game, period, let alone in the codex.
they are overcosted but hellhounds can still force huge squads out of coherency by ashing their entire middle. They make decent rammers as well due to to their large move range and decent armor. Its better to shoot at infantry than tank-shock them though.
If you need AA, the hydra is still a good take, as you can snapshot at ground targets and due to twin-linked you are likely to get 1 hit per hydra you have shooting at ground targets. So at least they are doing something if they don't have air targets to aim at.

There aren't really any. Elite are the weakest slots for IG and FW doesn't really change this, while the traditional heavy support options (artillery) don't fit very well with short-range elite army that won't have a proper meatshield screen in front of the big guns or CCS to give them orders. The only thing I can think of is the Avenger (heavy support), which is a decent glass cannon flyer with a lot of AP 2/3 shots.
If you're considering codex IG options and not just FW it changes quite a bit, as you gain access to the Wyvern (awesome anti-horde) and Manticore (decent anti-horde that can hurt vehicles). Either one of those would probably be a good option, and IMO better than any of the FW units unless you really want a flyer.
Because MT already have valkyries (which are good fast attack, and which can transport my Inquisitorial henchmen).
FW gives you inquisition Valkyries ( IA 2), so there's no need to waste your allied slots on transports for your henchmen. Put the Valkyries in your inquisition detachment and spend your MT slot on a Vulture with punisher cannons or a codex IG Vendetta.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

I've just realised that due to a lack of FAQ, and bad wording, Inquisitorial Valkyries can only be taken by grey knights, and for some reasons Inquisitorial Valkyries are more expensive than MT ones
Sadly, I can't take IG (mostly for fluff and points reasons), so I'll stick with FG stuff.
In which book are the rules for the vulture and Avenger?

The flyers were introduced in Aeronautica, it's on FW's website. BTW, I looked over your list from last month. Here's some more ideas for you:
- You could run the Air Assault MT formation with MRP's. Good anti-horde, and it will allow you flexibility to take other objectives if your Deathwing deepstrikes. Be careful you don't get wiped off the table if the enemy goes first! (Coteaz would help)
- Salvo weapons. Since you have Priests and Psykers, Fearless Scions with Volleyguns, backed by Foreboding, Forewarning and rerolling saves will shoot up hordes and be hard to push off objectives. Dakkabanner tac squads might be good too, and you can take Razorbacks with heavy flamers for punks hiding in cover.
- A FW tank squadron like the Thunderer. The AV14 front prevents you getting tabled in turn 1, and they have a hard hitting template (S10AP1). A Salamander Command Vehicle (elites choice, AV12) can be taken as well and can reduce enemy cover saves.
- Ally with AM instead. Not a huge sacrifice, as you only have one command squad and it's presumably doing a suicide Melta run. Then you can get access to the Tank HQ (Punishers will take care of hordes), Wyverns, Hydras, tarpit infantry, as well as Primaris Psykers. Relentless on Volleyguns is awesome, and Biomancy is a good table to roll on. Smite is a great Primaris, which makes fishing for powers a lot more forgiving.
- Prescienced Inquisition Servitors with heavy bolters or plasma cannons can probably mow down hordes too.
- Get more Psykers and just pyro everything you come across.
Anyways, just some ideas... post your new list once you know what you want!
