I'm going crazy trying to find a product like this.

Litko sells one called Craftics #33 Thick Acrylic Cement
http://www.litko.net/products/Craftics-%2333-Thick-Acrylic-Cement.html#.VNwrgy5eoyE

Dries clear and will not "fog" acrylic like thin CA can.

Exactly what I'm after BUT I'd have to order from the US and postage is a female dog.

There has to be more than one brand out there that does this. Do you guys know of or use a brand of glue that doesn't frost clear plastic or glass? Preferably one sold in the EU and on ebay.

I think BuyPainted uses this for his canopys. I heard him mentioning using is since it does not fog the plastic

Don't know about your place but here this can be bought in any supermarket.

What glue do you guys use on Canopies?

From the gloogle link above I managed to find out that the glue I'm after is called Canopy Glue.

I've found a few different products on ebay and elsewhere.

From the single canopy glue thread I read it seems Zap Formula 560 Canopy Glue is the best one on the market.

Anyone used it?

Here are some others I've found:
Bob Smith Super Gold +
Humbrol Clearfix

I just use plain old PVA to be honest as it drys clear and doesn't fog.

However Revell have recently changed their Contacta Liquid poly cement and there is one called Contacta Clear that is designed for canopies, chrome plastic etc.

If it is specifically a contact adhesive you're after though I am not familiar with any, I always find most contact adhesives give off fumes which will fog clear plastic.

What are you gluing? If it's for canopies on aircraft, PVA does the job fine (as above). For more heavy duty tasks, I use Araldite, which is a two part epoxy that dries clear, is very strong and doesn't fog.

The FW guys recommend using gloss varnish to glue canopies in.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

This would be my suggestion as well. A buddy of mine use PVA for all kinds of application and it does seem to work well.

Watchmaker's cement is another option. Strong as hell and safe to use on plastic, glass... even precious stones. Meant for small tasks, too, so it generally comes in small tubes with a fine applicator.

Silicon adhesives are another option. Very flexible bond, which is resistant to knocks, but can still be peeled away with a bit of force. Reeks like vinegar during the slow cure and a bit gloopy in the application, but it's safe.
