Ok, I just did a complete rewrite. I am looking to make a competitive 1850 allcomer list for a competitive tourny. Looking for C&C, I think the redoubt is necessary because I am expecting lots of flyers, which Eldar is notoriously weak at. I also think I can make it work as a good LOS block, also it can contain my farseer and maybe some DA. So here it is:

Farseer, Faolchus wing, Spirit Stone- 145
2x Dire Avengers in serpents with scatter laser- 185 x 2
1x Dire Avengers in Serpent w scatter laser and ghostwalk- 195
2x Wraithknights- 240 x2
Knight Errant- 370
Firestorm Redoubt, Void Shield, Icarus Las, 2x Quad icarus Las, Magos- 290


So the farseer starts in the redoubt, he will likely roll on telepathy with a single roll in Malefic for summoning. I think it definitely fulfills some of the board control aspects the list is weak at. He can walk out of the redoubt, summon, and run out of LOS. Shriek is also nice. The DA are there for objective grabs and ignore cover fire support. Will likely use redoubt for first turn cover. The two wraithknights and the knight are there are board control beatsticks, as well as high S low AP shooting.

Redoubt is pricy, but bringing your own LOS blocking terrain is useful. But its mostly there to account for my lack of AA. 5 lascannon shots at bs3 with interceptor, 4 of them twin linked, can put some hurt down on flyers.

Thoughts?

I don't think you can take a additional icarus las cannon with the redoubt.

All stronghold assault buildings can. Even says it in battlescribe.
