So a couple of things.

Where are the nobz with power klaws and boss poles? Without them your boyz won't fare very well against a lot of enemies.

Secondly, thought the mega armour warboss is great and can deflect a lot of shots, you won't be able to run with that squad, so, though I love the armour, I would downgrade to Eavy armour so you can still get that WAAAGH off.

I am not sure big mek KFF is worth it since you can get almost 2 pain boyz for that and give the two slugga squads feel no pain. Because the KFF only works on models within 6" rather than squads within 6" which means the feel no pain may be better. Having said that, your list might just die to vindicator a unless you can pop them quick. I would possibly drop in some tank bustas in a battlewagon instead of the deff dread and and zap guns, and possibly the looters as well because I firmly believe that the tankbustas will pop more things.

The problem is that you need to pop a lot of vehicles in order for your dudes to charge the squishy goodies inside. Hence the tankbustas

Hope this helps

A few of my points are invalid of course if you are using the old ork codex, but I'm assuming your not?

Everything Tiny_Titan says is correct. However, i'm not a fan of tankbustas in footslogging lists. They're a great unit for mech orks as they're protected with vehicles. But when you're footslogging, you can't boast AV target saturation. And bustas need to get close enough to do their stuff and become pretty vulnerable for 13 pt orkses. Luckilly, we have other sources of great AT.

Take a look at lobbas and KMK as ranged support. And always take ammo runts for your guns. Especially the ones with gets hot.

Also, you can't fit in Dreads + Lootas + gunz in a single detachment as lootas are HS now. Though, you can easilly go double cad or unbound. You'll loose objective secured for part of your army or for everyone.

I think if he is rolling 5th edition, the KFF is back in its "beast-mode." At least I hope it is for his sake, otherwise I completely agree with the application of the Painboy, it essentially replaced the KFF in any Ork list I build.

1. Sluggaboyz
Yeah I totally forgot that the sluggaboyz ofcourse have a boss with powerklaw and bosspole! Sorry

2. Big Mek with KFF
The rule in the 5 ed of the KFF says that every "every UNIT within 6" receives a 5+ invulnerable save. In the 7th edition they switched to "every model"!
So I think Big Mek with KFF is the better choice vs 2 Painboys in the 5th ed right? My vision was that he runs between the 4 boy-squads and give all the 5+ save.

3. Lootas + Dread + Gunz:
In the 5th ed lootas are elite so everything should be fine.

This is almost similar to the lost I started to run in 5th as well, but for a few things. Remember iirc Mega armour is slow and purposeful so in 5th you were treated as going through difficult terrain (and with all those boyz you want to be moving and running toward the enemy) put cybork and/or eavy on your warboss and put I'm in the front remember you can remove models from the back in 5th plus no challenges either. Kff is also 4+ cover in 5th (treating being obscured). I would take kannons or lobbas rather than zzap gunz IMO. And for the dread either all klaws or only one kind of shooting weapon my choice big shootas and then add some rokkits to the boyz squads. Hope the advice helps
