I use allot of Nuln Oil, and it is usually fine but occasionally it dries shiny. Although it is easy to fix with a matte varnish; it is irritating. Has anyone ever experienced this or know the cause? Thanks.

It's because you didn't shake it (or shake it enough), my friend

The matting agents settle out; you can see it if you tip the pot upside down ~ some will be stuck around the bottom unless its thoroughly shaken up.
