So, It appears that the Warpath Range is kind of dying. are they abandoning it in favour of a focus on deadzone?

To an extent, yes, in that some of the initial kits that were literally fantasy kits with sci-fi parts added on are being sold at ever-greater discounts and I'd guess won't be restocked.

However, Warpath is still Mantic's long-term project. The WP3 rules are being worked on now, and the next Deadzone KS will be focusing on creating hard plastic kits for many races' basic troops so that when Warpath proper goes to KS, they can focus on fun stuff like elite units and tanks. So while the early days of Warpath, when sticking goggles on a Dwarf made it sci-fi, are being somewhat brushed under the carpet, Warpath will be back and in a big way in a year or so, I'd imagine.

This thread makes me happy after being worried! Thanks paradigm!
I'm looking to convert my friends to KoW after literally loving it first game and after summer moving into warpath
Most of my friends play 'convertable' 40k armies like orcs ect
If they have a new kickstarter I will be breaking my kickstarter virginity and laying down top dolla for a pledge.

Might just be a decision not to sit on large amounts of stock unnecessarily. The FF list has a unit which I believe to be what the current fantasy hybrid Steel Warriors will be in the next edition - but I'll caveat that by saying I haven't asked yet as I've only been play-testing with Plague and Enforcers so far.

I personally can't wait to see more units for Warpath, I have a group of friends who want to play as well, so I've ended up substituting my Tau as Forge Fathers. (Not bad honestly.)
It's so early, but I want to see the game succeed, they have all the rules, but not even a single Aircraft yet.
When they have a KS, I will put my money into it.
