Ok so some of my new renegades have arrived, with many still in the post. I've decided to try out some of the new models that have arrived in a battle on wednesday. I have still to buy 2 earthshakers, 6 rapiers and 2 giant spawn to complete th ideal army I want and there are a fair few items I've won on ebay still on their way. Therefore I will not be including these in the battle.

So I will be facing my mates eldar who is also allying in some of my BA and maybe my Knight. This is so we can also test out the new BA dex.
It is 3k so I can use the Greater Brass Scorpion and so we can use a decent amount of BA units.

I'll be writing up a battle report at some point with pictures and let you know about all the horrible mistakes I make with my new models :-p.

I will likely be facing 3 to 4 serpents, probably an avatar, wraiths of varying types and some jetbikes, definitely going to see warpspiders. We want to look at the new DC and SG and I own a mega ton of both of those so will definitely be facing these. Maybe, points dependent, a knight paladin also. Any tips for either myself or my mate?

Out of curiosity what are you using for earthshakers and rapier?

Ah pants - just remembered, needs to be 10 CSMs for 2 melta. Need to drop an oblitorator. Instead I'll take the CSM squads upto 10men, take an extra termi with MoK, combi-melta and LC. Have 9pts left to get 3 more mutants.
