I have the new grey seer and have built him completely except for one very small detail that has 2 options that i can't pick and choose over. That option is which hand do i use.

Do i use the hand wave, creepy grab, invisible grope, hand-waving (as if he's saying hi), force grope (a new jedi power) or hover hand pose?

Or do i use the one with the 2nd rat making him an awful lot like the sea witch in 'the little mermaid' imaging him using a weird deep woman's voice while doing so ("My babies")? This second rat also makes him look like he's got a couple parrots and may be a pirate. I'm wondering if i need a 2nd rat posed on his hand that's jumping off in an action sequence ready to kick no *ss and die as quickly as possible.

I like to also imagine the rat on his pole is like a spy or look-out gnoblar.

So anyway do i use the hand wave hand variant or the perched armored rat jumping off his hand variant (his hand is outstretched like you'd do with a bird). I'm eager to finally finish this grey seer and use him.

I can't help but notice he looks an awful lot like the vampire counts necromancer model though maybe it's because they're both wizards.

--------

I may show you guys a picture of each hand option since the GW site doesn't show the one with the perched armored rat jumping off.

I may also use the rat for something else provided i don't use it for this model (and just cut the hand it's attached to off).

--------

Anyway i'm unsure about both options but if i ever lose one i'll have one to replace it with. Alternatively i have some green stuff in case i can't make up my mind further. It's a mostly meaningless and pointless thing but i'm still curious what you guys think i should do for this model.

--------

Unrelated but the tail broke and i may need something stronger than super glue to hold it together now. It broke while modeling and is very fragile. I was rather careful with the horns too since they are awkward and just felt like they'd break easily.

You're not using plastic cement on your plastic models? O.o

Yeah, use plastic cement on plastic models. It doesn't leave a residue behind and it actually melds the plastic together into a single piece.

Less danger of gluing your body parts to each other or your desk too.

It's the loctite glue in case you guys don't know what kind. Usually i prefer this glue as GW glue is overpriced, doesn't stick well and just generally crap overall. This is mostly my case for their super glue.

It's still superglue though... Seriously get some (non GW) plastic glue, it's incredible.

Could somebody at least tell me which hand i should use for the grey seer?

It still remains without a right hand and i can't make up my freaking mind.

Which ever you want. WYSIWYG isn't all that important in fantasy. Especially on characters.

On topic first just cause..

Do the attack rat hand. I can't seem to find a photo of it, but it sounds way cooler than the standard IMAWIZARDPOINTINGATYOUNOWBADSTUFFHAPPENS hand. I think I did manage to dig up a photo of that hand, its ok. But it doesn't scream skaven like throwing a tiny mutant rat at somebody would. The wee rat with the warpstone in his paws that's riding the staff... adorable and awesome. Damnit I kind of want the model now.

Huh... I kind of hate plastic glue. I guess it could be because I change my mind and want to alter models I built years ago... but if you use plastic glue that's almost impossible without a lot of skill and luck. Super glue just snaps right back apart easy peasy. Using just a tiny blob of bluetack/poster tack in the join to help hold the things together why the superglue sets is my standby. Kind of like pinning minus the extra work, and without the bonus structural integrity.

Well i waited a while and built it last night so couldn't hear GrimDork's opinion.

I did the hand option with just the normal hand wave. Sorry :(. I wasn't sure if the extra rat might do something weird to the model and help break it off more and need to be constantly glued. Anyway i need to get a piece of the tail that keeps breaking off back on. I figure the green stuff should help.
