For 62 points I get an AV 11 Open Topped transport with 3 weapons (Rokkits). Are they worth it? Or should I just take Trukks? I want to know if it's worth sacrificing a few Kans for one.

I run one in my speed freaks list with a killa kannon and in a different list i run a skorcha wagon with 3 flamers. Skorcha wagon never gets its job done but people do shoot the hell out of it, take that for what its worth. The killa wagon does awesome some games and others I get "dont press that" half the turns. Its a fun unit to play and its an ok transport option since its open topped. If your the competitive type or dont like random craziness I'd leave it on the shelf.

Without the boomgun the looted wagon is more fun than it is useful.

As a transport trukks are much better.
As a weapons platform you're better off bringing mek guns.

Fun unit, and even more fun to build in my opinion. Seeing as it can be literally anything you want.

I'd say worth it if you want some fluffy orky laughs but questionable if you want a competitive list. I brought one in my last game just so I could announce that I was rolling for "Don't Press Dat" and potentially have some laughs as my Tankbustas go flying into walls. I managed to not roll any ones and got some worthwhile tank vs tank action going. Your mileage will definitely vary

I use a couple of them in most lists with killkanons and deffrollas. They're more intimidating than anything, but won't die to bolter fire while allowing my war boss, mek, and pain boy to ride with a 9 man unit of nobz.
